  • DIME Hardware Features

    The remotely manageable DIME embedded unit boasts a variety of interfaces to a wide array of vehicle, computer and communications modules. The unit supports 2 CAN channels, J1708, J1850, RS-232, full duplex RS-422, Ethernet, GPS, as well as digital and analog data inputs. The DIME memory management system and compressed file types allows it to run for over a year without offloading data.

  • Diagnostics

    The DIME embedded unit and portal system supports connections to J1939, KWP2000, and J1587vehicle data buses. The system collects a variety of vehicle parameters in various DIME system file types and automatically sends them to the DIME portal. The system collects special files around vehicle fault conditions and allows users to define specialized triggers for additional data collection.

  • Communications

    The DIME unit is also extremely flexible in support of off board data communications. The DIME unit supports Cellular (GSM and CDMA), WiFi (802.11 b & g) and Satellite communications. The system uploads data and can also download firmware updates and varying data collection profiles. The DIME also supports direct interfaces with laptops and PDAs for data transfer.
